Aogami Chip Carving Knives

These carving knives are adapted from the original European design. They are hand forged from laminated Aogami (blue steel) for superior edge holding properties and tempered to Rockwell hardness c63. Each knife blank is carefully shaped and fully sharpened. The blades are pinned to the hardwood (Padouk) handles with brass rivets. Overall length is 7 3/4" and blade length is 1 3/4".

Both edges sharpened. The curved blade is suitable for carving on concave as well as convex surfaces.
