Varathane Premium Wood Conditioner prevents splotchy, uneven staining on soft or porous woods. Apply to woods including pine, maple, alder, fir or birch. High-solids formula penetrates deeply into wood. Please read product labels for additional directions and precautions before using. Product features: Seals soft wood for even color, superior penetration, works under any oil-based stain. Application tip: Allow conditioner to penetrate for at least 30 minutes before staining.
