Independence Back Saws

These classic Back Saws are based on a Sheffield-made saw from the 1830s. The blades are the finest .020" polished steel, hardened to Rc 52, assuring you of infrequent sharpening. The rigid spine is chamfered solid brass. The handles are curly hard maple, attached with traditional split nut brass screws.

Independence Dovetail Saw

The Dovetail Saw has 15 rip teeth per inch.  Saw length, including handle, is 14", with an overall height of 4-1/4".  Usable blade dimensions are 9" long by 1-5/8" deep.
