#220 Grit Ceramic (Moss) Professional Series Water Stone - Shapton

This #220 Grit Moss Shapton Professional Ceramic Water Stone is designed for the professional. It will very rapidly remove material to fix chips and change the overall shape of the edge. The stones are fired to a high temperature with a mixture of very coarse #220 abrasive and a clay binder. Unlike other water stones, it does not require soaking prior to use. Simply add water to the surface and start sharpening. It is 8-1/4" x 2-3/4" x 5/8" and is shipped in a plastic storage case that can be used as a stone holder while sharpening. The base has rubber feet to give a non-slip working surface.
