Spiral Shell Auger Bit

An improved design for boring long holes. The spiral shape facilitates the removal of waste material thus reducing the frequency of pulling it out of the hole for cleaning. Because the boring process is done by hand, a handle needs to be used, preferably one with sufficient length and diameter. The bit is 26" in overall length, and is fitted to a ten inch handle.
