Dental Probe

A sharp dental probe is used to extract small pieces of veneer from a scroll saw and for piercing starter holes in packets of veneer. This facilitates the threading of the 2/0 for marquetry packet cutting. By chucking the dental probe in a drill press, you can ease a non-invasive hole through the packet of veneers, allowing the hole to be easily closed up after packet cutting is complete.
